Cardiology Grand Rounds

 


Overview

Cardiology Grand Rounds, coordinated by the Cardiology Section at Texas Heart Institute and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, is presented live on a weekly basis for fellows-in-training, residents, and all attending physicians of the Texas Heart Institute Professional Staff. The online CME courses have been developed from the live lectures.

The series is designed to address relevant patient care issues in the basic areas of cardiovascular medicine. Invited speakers examine current cardiovascular advancements, investigative efforts, and practice challenges. Each lecture is designed to increase physicians’ medical knowledge and skills, and ultimately, improve patient care.

Global Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this series of lectures, the participant will be able to –

  • Understand and apply current practice guidelines in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
  • Describe the latest advances in the field of cardiovascular medicine and research.
  • Identify and explain areas of controversy in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
